    One of skateboarding’s greatest attributes is its community.

    By joining our group lessons, you will not only learn the fundamentals of skateboarding at your own pace, but you will be able to progress as a group, meet new friends, learn from each other, and feed off the amazing energy that group skate sessions organically cultivate.

    Group lessons have a maximum capacity of 3 skaters and are a fantastic option for any beginner or intermediate rider.

  • Private Lessons

    Our private lessons are perfect for riders of all skill levels looking to dial in their skill set with detailed, one-on-one instruction.

    Private lessons allow the rider to have our entire facility to themselves and will have the instructor’s undivided attention for the entirety of the lesson.

    Private lessons are a great option for riders of all ages and skill levels.

Meet the instructor

Will Stephan is the founder of Chicago Skate School and a strong proponent of all things skateboarding.

He has been skating for over 15 years and is also the proud owner of Sapient Skateboards, a Chicago-based skateboard brand and manufacturer.

With years of experience in teaching skateboarding, he holds both a technical and personal understanding of what it takes to learn how to skate.

FAQs

Can I still participate if I don’t have a board?

Yes! We are proud to offer FREE skateboard and protective equipment rental. This is a great way to give skating a try prior to investing in the necessary equipment.

Do I have to wear pads?

Yes, helmets are 100% required and all additional padding is strongly recommended. The only way you learn how to skateboard is by falling, getting up, and trying again. Wearing protective gear not only provides confidence when learning, but it keeps you safe and skating when you need it most. In order to learn how to skate, you must learn how to fall safely. Strap up!

Where will I find my booking details?

Once you book through our online software, all relevant booking details will be sent to the email provided during the booking process. You will receive a confirmation email with all the necessary information you need to prepare for your lesson including detailed directions and parking information for when you arrive.
